Terms of service

The service

Porteur gives access to a base of market topics: monthly search volumes in France and the United States over up to four years, growth at 3, 6 and 12 months, acceleration, stage, seasonality, the lag between the US curve and the French one, and INSEE/SIRENE business creations by NAF code and department. The base is refreshed every week and can be read on the site, by email (alerts and newsletter) and through the MCP server. Plans and their limits are described on the Pricing page.

Accounts and acceptable use

  • An account is personal: an email address and a password, or a Google or GitHub sign-in. The number of seats allowed depends on the plan; beyond it, sharing an account or an API key is not permitted.
  • You are responsible for keeping your credentials and API keys confidential, and for what is done with them, including by the agents you connect.
  • Circumventing quotas (multiple accounts, rotating addresses), bulk-extracting the base outside the exports and the MCP server provided for that purpose, or reselling the raw data is prohibited.
  • An account that breaks these rules may be suspended. You can delete your account at any time from the dashboard.

Billing

  • The Free plan needs no card and has no time limit. Solo, Pro and Agency are monthly or yearly subscriptions at the prices shown on the Pricing page, with yearly counting ten months. A subscription starts at payment and renews until cancelled.
  • Cancellation is done from the Polar customer portal and takes effect at the end of the paid period; paid access stays open until then. Quotas count per month for MCP calls and per day for the checker, whatever the billing cycle.
  • Polar.sh is the merchant of record: it collects payment, applies VAT, issues invoices and handles refund requests.

Data and exports

Porteur hosts no files: the service has no upload, and the only data you create in it is your portfolios. The data served is compiled from public or licensed sources (Google Ads keyword data through DataForSEO, INSEE's Sirene register); the computed scores, stages and lags belong to Porteur. CSV exports on the Pro and Agency plans are meant for your internal use and your client deliverables. Redistributing the raw base, in whole or in part, is not permitted.

Liability

Porteur is an information tool, not advice. Volumes, stages and lags are estimates computed from third-party sources and refreshed weekly; they can be incomplete or late, and a past trend does not guarantee the next one. Decisions made from the data are yours. The service is provided as is: we work to keep it available and accurate, without a guarantee of continuous availability. Our total liability is capped at the amounts paid over the last twelve months and excludes indirect damages and lost profits.

Changes

These terms may change. A material change is announced by email before it takes effect; continuing to use the service after that date constitutes acceptance.
