Delete Your Account

Permanently remove your Stamp Letter account and all associated data.

⚠️ This action is permanent

Deleting your account will permanently remove all of the following data from our servers. This cannot be undone.

What will be deleted

  • Your profile information (email, username, avatar)
  • All stamps you have created (photos, thumbnails, and originals)
  • All stamp collections you have organized
  • All letters you have sent and received
  • Your contacts list and contact categories
  • All friend requests (incoming and outgoing)
  • Your drawings and letter compositions

Option 1: Delete from the App

The fastest way to delete your account:

  1. Open Stamp Letter on your device.
  2. Go to the Profile tab (bottom right).
  3. Scroll down to the bottom of the screen.
  4. Tap "Delete Account".
  5. Type DELETE to confirm.
  6. Your account and all data will be immediately removed.

Option 2: Request Deletion by Email

If you cannot access the app, you can request account deletion by email:

  1. Send an email to [email protected].
  2. Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request".
  3. Include the email address associated with your Stamp Letter account.
  4. We will verify your identity and process the deletion within 48 hours.

Deletion Timeline

  • In-app deletion: Immediate. Your account is removed as soon as you confirm.
  • Email request: Processed within 48 hours of identity verification.
  • Backup removal: All data is purged from backups within 30 days.

Note About Sent Letters

Letters you have already sent to other users will remain in their mailbox, as they are part of the recipient's data. However, your profile name will be replaced with "Deleted User" and your stamps will no longer be viewable.
